The Best New Year's Resolution

The Best New Year's Resolution

Friends,
It's New Year's Eve, and I'm curled up on my parents' couch with my journal and some miraculously still-warm coffee, doing my annual “what-went-well, what-could've-been-better” reflection (Type A energy, anyone?) I asked my 8-year-old what his goals for 2026 were, and without hesitation, he said, “Have fun and hang out with my friends.” Honestly? Same. Maybe he's onto something.

A Heart Full of Gratitude

As 2025 winds down, there's something I want to express —I am so thankful for you —for your support, kindness, and encouragement as we continue on this entrepreneurial journey. It means more than you know.

Starting a small business can be hard. And scary. There are days of self-doubt, messy middle moments, and occasionally, a “What am I even doing?” said aloud. This year stretched us in the best ways. Thank you for being here as we learn and grow.

Showing Up Authentically

If you know me, you know how hard it is for me to share publicly about The Pearl Project (ugh, social media!). But little by little, I've learned to show up more authentically—to share not just what we do, but why we do it. And you have made this a safe, encouraging place to do just that.
We've grown in meaningful ways: connecting with more people, launching new mental health kits, and watching them land in hands and hearts that needed them most.
This year reminded me that success isn't about doing more—it's about depth. It's in the quiet wins, the small breakthroughs, and the laughter echoing through our little garage “office” while packing up orders.

Looking Ahead

As I look toward 2026, I'm thrilled about what's coming: new kits, special collaborations, and—if we're taking my son's advice—a little more fun and friend time.

Because maybe that's the real goal: more joy, more connection, and a little less hustle.

I'd Love Your Feedback

If you purchased or were gifted a kit this year, I'd love to hear from you! Even if you have never held a kit in your hands, I'd still love to hear from you! Your honest reflections truly help us grow and improve (because yes, my Type A tendencies are alive and well).

From the bottom of my over-caffeinated, ever-grateful heart—thank you!

Thank you for trusting us, cheering us on, and believing in The Pearl Project's mission to make high-quality mental health support more accessible.

Jen

Seriously, though, I do want to know-- what are some of your goals for the year to come? Do you journal at the end of each year, or am I weird? What things (big or small) really worked for you in 2025? What didn't? Let's talk about it all!
